(AGT)’s CEO and founder Jeff Galvin has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Tech Council, the largest Maryland technology trade association, representing over 600 companies across the breadth of technology and life science industries.

Galvin earned his BA degree in Economics from Harvard in 1981. He has more than 30 years of business and entrepreneurial experience including founder or executive positions at a variety of Silicon Valley startups. Several of his companies were taken public and/or sold to public companies.
Galvin is a veteran member of the Maryland Tech Council and has been involved in its recent progress. He participated in various activities with the Maryland Tech Council, including: jointly testifying before the Maryland Senate Finance Committee against generic drug price control legislation that could curtail Marylander’s access to drugs (SB1023); participating as a featured member at Maryland Tech Council's BIO International Conference; and sponsoring or participating in its other events, such as TEDCO’s Innovation Challenge, MTC Industry Awards, East Coast VentureCON, and the Bio+Tech18 Conference.
