Las Vegas Attorney Jack Buchanan Offers Serious Advice to Protect Yourself Against Criminal Proceedings

Jack Buchanan of Las Vegas, president and criminal defense attorney at Buchanan Law Defense, addresses key advice for those grappling with criminal proceedings.

LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, April 30, 2021 / — With his years of experience, defense attorney Jack Buchanan knows better than most what harms or helps defendants. He has represented individuals accused of every imaginable crime, giving him professional insight into how people accused and on trial can protect themselves during criminal proceedings. If you feel ill-prepared to face the legal process, start with these four key pieces of advice.

Handle Police Interactions With Care
Interacting with the police during an arrest, investigation or trial can cause distress and frustration. Anytime they speak to the police, Jack Buchanan insists that people should have a lawyer present to protect themselves against unfair questioning or treatment. You want to avoid saying anything that could negatively affect your case.

Often the best course of action when addressing the police involves declining to answer their questions. Offering limited information until you feel confident in what to say and how it will affect the case protects you in the long run. When you do tell your story, never lie, since lying can land you in as much trouble as saying too much.

Land Seasoned Defense Attorneys Like Jack Buchanan
A strong criminal defense attorney serves as your best form of protection against criminal proceedings. You want a lawyer with extensive practical experience who understands cases like yours. Attorneys like Jack Buchanan in Las Vegas offer free consultations, which can help you identify a lawyer you can trust.

A criminal defense attorney provides invaluable services to defendants of all kinds. You can speak openly to your attorney without the fear of retribution for your words. Attorneys help navigate your conversations with police, structure what you want to say, how you can say it and will prepare you for court.

The prosecution in a criminal case must prove beyond reasonable doubt that you committed the crime. Through the information exchanged at your consultation, your attorney will understand just what the prosecutor must do to prove your guilt. This means they know how to build your case to combat any allegations made against you.

Consider Your Courtroom Presentation
Jack Buchanan strongly believes that how you present and conduct yourself during criminal proceedings can make or break your case.

Think About Your Appearance
In court, you want to make an excellent first impression to rally people on your side. A neat, professional appearance with business-like clothing goes far in helping your reputation.

Manners In Court
People should also consider how they behave during and outside courtroom proceedings. Discussing an ongoing case with family, friends or on social media can prove detrimental to a defendant. Without proper counsel, anything or anyone could become evidence or a witness. Conducting yourself with respect for the case and people in court, no matter what you feel about what’s being said, can give you the upper hand.

Know Your Rights
Above all, Jack Buchanan believes defendants in criminal proceedings should understand their rights. Critical examples include but are not limited to the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments of the United States Constitution.

Fourth Amendment
The Fourth Amendment protects citizens from unreasonable search and seizure. When police begin investigating a potential crime or respond to a tip, people should stand firm on this right.

Fifth Amendment
From the initial arrest and questioning, the accused can use their Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination. The Miranda Rights read to arrested persons falls under this amendment, and police must declare this if they intend to question someone. The Fifth Amendment also extends to trial, where Jack Buchanan and other attorneys ensure the judge and prosecutor cannot force the defendant to testify against their wish.

Sixth Amendment
The Sixth Amendment guarantees accused persons counsel during criminal proceedings, but it also includes other important factors. The defendant has a right to confront witnesses who testify against them, as well as obtain witnesses in their favor. The support offered by character and regular witnesses immeasurably boosts the defendant’s credibility.

The Defense Attorney You Can Trust
If you need a defense attorney, look no further than Buchanan Defense Law’s unmatched reputation. Since taking over his father’s office in 2009, Buchanan has dedicated himself to protecting the rights of residents and tourists of Las Vegas accused of crimes. With a diverse range of experience, Buchanan has fought against everything from traffic offenses to accusations of violent crimes with passion and open communication. The People Behind the Brand: Brand Ambassador

Jay and Jennifer Etheridge at Scottsdale Barrett Jackson

2021 Wraith in Raw Aluminum

Rear-view Perfection

2021 Combat Knight Wraith

Combat Motors

Jay is much more than his mere qualifications. He is a brand ambassador.”

— Ernest Lee

BIRMINGHAM, AL, USA, April 30, 2021 / — If you decide that a Combat Motorcycle is in your future, you will likely need to speak to one guy… and one guy alone. Seriously. He’s not a salesman, the title is demeaning to a gentleman of this nature. He’d better align with being the best man in your wedding. Someone you trust to deliver on the expectations you’ve set in your own mind. His name is Jay Etheridge.

Anyone can sell these things, right?! No. Combat Motors creates some of the most elite class machines in the industry. The machines built by Combat Motors, the P-51 Combat Fighter, F-117 Fighter, the FA-13 Combat Bomber and the all new Wraith, do not fit any form or adjective of a “typical” nature and neither do the support staff of Combat Motors. The Combat Motors brand rests on the shoulders of someone that upholds the ideals and expectations of each of their patrons. Enter Jay Etheridge, Brand Ambassador, the person that Combat Motors has entrusted to connect every client to the machine of their specific requirements – fine – “dreams”, the term is overplayed but these bikes are dreamy.

Jay is a Pennsylvania native that relocated to the great south to escape the brutally cold winters of the north. Starting his career in 1995, he is a tenured corporate accounting professional with a finance degree that he initiated at The University of Phoenix and completed at The University of Alabama in 2009. Combat Motors wholly trusts that the numbers he provides our clients are as close to accurate as they can be. However, Jay is much more than his mere qualifications. He is a brand ambassador.

Jay goes far beyond his accounting services for Combat Motors. His dedication to clients’ needs also goes beyond just fielding the calls and completing orders. He also personally delivers each machine to its new owner. Do you remember that saying where someone “eats, sleeps and breaths this stuff”? This is why Combat Motors uses the term ambassador. Jay goes above and beyond for every Combat Motors’ client by exuding the company’s founding principles.
Jay is driven to excellence because he has been empowered to do so. Ernest Lee, owner of the brand, in recognition of Jay’s innate ability to make those around him feel welcomed, has encouraged him to do nothing less for his clients. Even if you’re not in the market yet, Combat Motors encourages everyone to stop by the shop or at their booth at a show to say hello to Jay. You’ll find these words are given substance when you see just what kind of gentleman Jay Etheridge is.

Combat Motors is dedicated to excellence. Whether it is a simple inquiry to the price and availability of a pre-owned machine or something that is destined to be as unique as your one-in-a-googolplex personality, you will never feel pressured by Jay. Combat Motors is shaping the company to be unlike anything you’ve experienced in the past; from “Follow My Build” features that showcase your actual motorcycle being constructed, to the personal involvement of Jay’s assurances and support during the sales or service process. One call to Jay Ethereridge is all that it takes to become a part of history in the making.

Influential Lifestyle Brand Entrepreneur Brad Pyatt Hints at the Next Big Trend

The industry thought leader is behind recent trailblazing ventures, and he's nearly ready to launchsomething he predicts will be huge

DENVER, CO, USA, April 30, 2021 / — Having an agile, strategic mindset served Brad Pyatt well as an NFL athlete. These attributes continue to power his career as a successful health and wellness entrepreneur. Once named among the Top 50 Successful Athlete Entrepreneurs of All Time and among the Top 100 Influential Leaders in the Food Industry, Pyatt has a reputation for upending traditional thinking to create multi-million dollar brands.

Cracking the difficult codes

"My strength is being able to peek around the corner and find the trends before they become trends," comments Pyatt, whose track record off the field has been filled with big wins. He and wife Stephanie amassed numerous celebrity endorsements when they formed Tru Brands, Inc. and launched TruWomen, 100 percent plant-based protein bars with fun, playful names targeting the women's nutrition market.

An easy route might have been just capitalizing on the plant-based trend. But that's not how Pyatt does business. "We're dedicated to cracking the difficult codes. It took us two years, and hundreds of renovations, before we were ready to debut TruWomen to the market in 2018," Brad Pyatt recalls.

"Our challenges were texture and taste. We were not satisfied with just coming out with a plant-based bar. We focused on disrupting the category with the best-tasting plant-based product and the best-tasting protein bar. We solved the challenge with a coated bar, which hides a lot of the protein within the coating."

Marketed as indulgent nutrition, TruWomen is a taste-based candy bar alternative. The product line won Vegan Protein Bar of the Year in 2020, and the UK's Nourish Award for plant-based ingredient products. Its fans include Halle Berry and Megan Fox. Brad Pyatt negotiated for TruWomen to be distributed by Target, Whole Foods and Costco Canada, among other locations.

"My success with TruWomen caused me to dig deeper into ingredient technologies and how these products are produced," he reflects. Pyatt sold Tru Brands in 2019 to focus on his next creative venture.

Pyatt next helped introduce the world to citrus-based CBD

Ever the disruptor, Pyatt founded Tasty Idea, LLC in 2018 to use his imaginative ideas to accelerate growth for food and beverage companies. To date, Pyatt and his team have launched more than 500 products and won 20 industry awards.

But the idea that turns the most heads lately is Peels, the only company in America selling citrus-based CBD. Brad Pyatt is one of the founding shareholders. "I like to bring solutions to categories with new ingredient technology. We didn't want to be part of the hemp dialogue," he explains. "With Peels, we can make CBD even more accessible and worry-free because it's not from hemp, is 100 percent THC-free and it is not governed by the same legal restrictions."

Peels CBD is made from orange peels and marketed as citrus-derived wellness. It is molecularly identical to the CBD produced from cannabis plants and offers the same holistic effects. "It alleviates most of the consumer concerns about CBD products: There are no toxic impurities. It is FDA Standards and GRAS certified. And there are no concerns about positive drug tests."

What's next for this driven athlete-turned-entrepreneur?

Brad Pyatt gives a small glimpse into where he'll next apply his energies. "I am intrigued by sports nutrition innovation. There are ingredients that have been around for decades, but that doesn't mean there isn't something new to bring to market with some smart technological re-imagining. My ‘what's next' will be what I call a cool, T-shirt worthy lifestyle brand: a name and logo consumers will want to wear.

"Stay tuned because I'm about to usher in a new era of sports nutrition."

CONNECTICUT, UNITED STATES, April 30, 2021 / — Most Americans today face serious financial challenges, particularly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “I have realized a growing need for concrete, easy-to-understand financial education and mentoring for young professionals to retirees,” Burns said. “There’s a lot of fear, confusion, uncertainty, poor financial habits ingrained early, and even general avoidance of the subject. These digital data points like reviews (both on UpCity and other third-party review sites), presence in relevant search results, domain authority, website speed and experience help UpCity connect businesses with outstanding service providers like 502ads.

Dan Olson, CEO of UpCity, had this to say about the 502ads team: “502ads provides an excellent service for their area. Not only do they have experience, but a true understanding of how to partner with local clients to effectively leverage the power of digital marketing.”

“We are proud to be partnering with UpCity and thankful for the recognition,” said 502ads founder Joshua Coffman. “This wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic clients, who inspire us every day.”
